Look who's 6 months!

Kate - 5 months old

Kate is now 5 months old.....how quickly time goes by! She is such a love, she is happy and smiley most of the time. She loves her brothers and mom and dad. She is a great sleeper and has learned to roll over and just today she started using the Johnny Jump-Up. She had so much fun jumping away.

Ward Halloween Party

Last Friday night we attended our ward's annual Halloween Party. The kids always look forward to this night as much as they look forward to Halloween night. The gym is full of carnival games, there is a haunted house, lots of treats, and a pumpkin carving contest. Last year Grant won the pumpkin carving contest so he was very optimist at winning again this year, being as he is a pro master pumpkin man!! Anyway, he ended taking a pumpkin that he painted on for his book report at school, it was painted as an alien! And Calvin decided to take the pumpkin that Ryan and him carved together. When the winners of the pumpkin carving contest were announced at the end of the night guess who won.....Grant again!! He was so excited, he jump up and down and was just estatic!! And as were we leaving for the evening he said to me that next year he was going to win again!! 

The boys all dressed up as cowboys this year which I thought was so cute!! And little Miss Kate was a cute pumpkin!

Kate was so tired during all the festivities that she decided to take a nap!

A trip to the ZOO

Dallin, Luke Kate and I were able to head to the zoo with Christian, BBJ and Hayden before they head back east for the fall. It was a beautiful day and the kids all had alot of fun being together and discovering the sights and fun of the Woodland Park Zoo.

First Day of School 2009 - 2010

Today Grant and Calvin began a new school year! They have been looking forward with much anticipation to this day all summer! Grant started 3rd grade with Mrs. Mank and Calvin started 1st grade with Mrs. Roberts. They both had a great first day and are looking forward to the new school year! The wheels have been turning in Grant's head today and tonight he told me, "I have countless questions about endless things!" WOW!! He then asked me what time of day he was born......super important I know! :)

Happy 2nd Birthday Luke!

Happy 2nd Birthday Luke! We celebrated Luke's birthday today by having a little party right here at home. The Grover cousins came over along with Nanny, Uncle Christian, Aunt Bobbie Jo, and Hayden. We played a couple games, opened presents and ate cake. Just your typical birthday party but we had a lot of fun!! Luke is such a sweet little guy full of energy and love! Some of Luke's current favorite things are, cars, balls, bubbles and bubble gum! 

We are so lucky to have him part of our family.

Kate - 9 weeks old and blessing

Kate turned 9 weeks old today and received a beautiful blessing from her Dad in church. Along with other promised blessings she was blessed to know that she is a daughter of God and to know that she has a family that loves her. We were lucky enough to have a lot of family attend sacrament meeting and join in the blessing of Kate. We love her and feel so blessed that she is a member of our family!
