Grant participated in his first Pinewood Derby last night. He had a great time making the car with Ryan. He picked out the style, color, name and number! He named his car SONIC and choose to have it be #48. He had a couple good races during the derby but in the end wasn't among the top three. We decided before we went last night that win or loose we would have a great time and we did!! Oh, and Grant got a certificate for the best Sports Car Design, he thought that was pretty cool. Way to go Grant!!

Aaahhh....just the first of many pinewood derbies for you guys! And it looks like you made it through without any tears! Way to go!
Ryan and Grant did a great job designing and building his first car. Those are such fun moments of cub scouts is the pinewood derby. Fun times. Pinewood derby was my boys favorite thing in cub scouts. You get to look forward to many more years ahead for that with your boys. YEAH!! Way to go Grant!!
Ha I was just going to say exactly what Kelli did! A decade or so of derbies on the horizon. You might as well just invest in all the fancy tools. It will pay off for sure :)
